They say love is the most beautiful thing in this world. Once you’ve loved, you’ll never forget it for the rest of your life. I’m willing to keep you in my heart forever.
I remember we once deeply loved and suffered for each other. Due to various difficulties and resistance, we couldn’t be together, maybe that’s fate.
But I don’t regret loving you. I hope that one day, when we have no more responsibilities and obligations, there will be no more obstacles. At that time, we’ll be together, inseparable, no more loneliness, no more waiting, no more agony.
I think even when we’re old and can barely walk, we’ll support each other and go for a stroll.
Sitting in the yard, looking at the stars in the sky, that would also be wonderful. When you’re thirsty, I’ll say, “Dear, pour me a bowl of water to drink.” If it’s hot, I’ll fan you to make you comfortable. I hope that at that time, you won’t mind that I’m old and clumsy.
Meeting you in this lifetime is my greatest joy. Although there are many things in this world that we can’t change, sometimes love is just love and will never change in this lifetime.
When we’re both old, free from external constraints, I hope to wake up every morning and make soft rice porridge for you, with a few light side dishes.
Then I’ll gently come to your bedside and call out, “Wake up, dear, the weather is beautiful today.” After eating, we’ll go to see how the vegetables in the garden are growing. Do they need weeding, fertilizing, or pest control?
When we’re old, maybe we won’t hear those opposing voices anymore. No one will impact their lives or throw tantrums because we’re together.
When we’re old, I want to affectionately call you “dear.” I want to eat the food you cook, and I’ll start the fire while preparing the food.
I hope we can have a small farmhouse with a quiet and undisturbed yard. When we’re tired, we’ll rest. When we’re energetic, we’ll take care of our little yard and live our simple life together.
When we’re old, we won’t have the energy to argue anymore. I think I’ll just quietly listen to you nagging, like a beautiful melody lingering in my ears.
When we’re old, maybe we can let go of some things, live for ourselves, and not be coerced by anyone. At that time, I believe your parents won’t force you to leave me again.
I’ll tightly hold your hand and never let go. Even if someone forces me to leave, I won’t let go.
By then, I think you’ll still be the same in my memory. Let me see your face, see if there are more lovely wrinkles. Will you still blush when I keep staring at your face?
Even if we’re all old and have passed the age of young love, I still want to dedicate all my tenderness and romance to you, and repay what I owe you. I think then my life will be complete.
Being able to embrace you till old age, never leaving or abandoning each other, is the happiest thing in my life.
Do you still remember when we first met, and we always understood each other without the need for words, just by looking at each other?
I think that after we’re together, I should be able to understand what you want me to do without making you angry.
You once said that only I understand you in this life, and without me, you won’t be happy anymore.
I hope that we can be together without hesitation. Let’s be the embodiment of enduring love, and let this love and devotion be our story. Perhaps some people don’t understand the love between us. They say we wasted all our youth and happiness by being with someone we didn’t truly love, but I disagree.
Our complete life is not just about love. Without those so-called fulfillments, love would be just a lifeless skeleton. If it can’t be fleshed out, how can it be lively and captivating, moving us?
Meeting you in this life, being with you for a lifetime, no matter who we are with now, I believe that one day, we’ll live only for each other.
I miss you, as if the second hand is constantly ticking, always hoping that time will pass a little faster. Once I fulfill my responsibilities and obligations, I will come to you, stay by your side, and never leave until our hearts stop beating.
